We have streamlined the aircraft donation process to make it as simple for our donors as possible.

After providing your information, you will be contacted by a member of our team to get a better understanding of your plane. Upon review and acceptance, Kars4kids will handle all the paperwork and technical aspects of the donation, such as ownership transfer.

The receipt and IRS form for your deduction will be sent out shortly after closing.

In addition to the generous tax savings, you’ll have immediate freedom from expensive hangar fees, insurance, and all costs relating to the upkeep and storage of your aircraft.
You can donate single engine propeller planes, multi-engine propeller planes, jets, helicopters, turboprop, and all other types of aircraft.
If all papers are in order, the process typically takes within 2 weeks. For time sensitive situations, Kars4kids can expedite the process.
The IRS allows you to claim a tax deduction of the amount we sell your plane for. Consult your tax advisor for details.
You can claim a tax deduction in the year that the plane is donated. Depending on your tax situation, you may be able to claim the deduction for up to five years.*
