He had several tenants in these homes, but\nsome of them were unreliable, which was a hassle Steve just didn\u2019t need. At a\ncertain point, he realized he no longer wanted to manage the property,\nespecially since he was relocating to Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So it was that Steve attempted to sell the property. But the offers that were coming in, just weren\u2019t what he\u2019d hoped. That\u2019s when Steve decided to do some online research and came across the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kars4kids.org\/real-estate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Kars4Kids Real Estate donation program (opens in a new tab)\">Kars4Kids Real Estate donation program<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steve consulted his accountant, who advised him that he\nwould benefit more from donation than from selling the properties. After\nconsidering his options, and meeting with our team, it was settled: there would\nbe a bargain sale arrangement for two of the properties in which Steve would\nreceive a portion of the appraised value as the sale price; and take a tax\ndeduction on the remainder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steve was pleased with this experience and with the outcome of his property dilemma.
