You've come to the right place – our Kars4Kids crew in Maine can pick up virtually any car donation, regardless of condition, and usually without a title too.
Here’s what our Maine donors had to say about how donating went for them.
P.S. we didn’t make these up! They're all real donors, with real experiences.
I was pleased with the ease of them picking up my vehicle, but I am not enjoying the having to notify that I no longer own the vehicle with threats of cancelled insurance & tag renewals. I wish that the notification is given to the county/state that it has been donated & no longer the responsibility of the previous owner.
Donating my car to Kars4Kids honestly couldn't have been any easier. I called and had a pick up date set for a few days later. The driver called to let me know he was almost there, came and picked up the car and was off. The process happened so quick I was a bit nervous I missed something. A few weeks later I received my voucher for my taxes in the mail. Easy as that
For weeks I had been contemplating about what to do with the old van that was practically on it's last leg and I didn't want to put up with selling it or letting it die. This was really the best alternative. This was a very easy and simple process. I was skeptical at first, but I was able to easily have someone pick up the car, I received the letter in the mail and saved it for tax time. Now, I am expecting a little extra on my return. And, I no longer have to worry about that old clunker. Thank You Kars 4 kids! Oh and it's good for the kids too. :)
Our charity programs are the essence of what we do. We are thankful to be able to give back to many local communities across North America and to bring educational opportunities to so many children. We're a registered nonprofit Jewish organization. Learn about what we do and see our charity programs here.
Kars4Kids‘ vision is to give our children the ability to succeed in life. We focus on educational, mentorship and year-round programs for our children, their families and their communities, looking at the big picture of our children‘s development and the environment they grow up in. We rely on thousands of volunteers to help us change the world, one child at a time.
Our summer camp menagerie is an integral part of building happy, emotionally healthy children. Children find it soothing to work with and cuddle the animals. It makes them feel capable when an animal responds to their touch and voice. Our unique brand of pet therapy bolsters campers' self-esteem and translates into better relationships with their peers.
There‘s always something going on at Kars4Kids, whether it‘s a weekend reunion for teenage girls, an exercise class at ChillZone, or a back-to-school backpack giveaway. There are fun and worthwhile programs for every age, from moms and dads, to teens, boys and girls. Something for everyone in the family all year long is our primary aim.
