Here’s what our Maine donors had to say about how donating went for them.
P.S. we didn’t make these up! They're all real donors, with real experiences.
I had a positive experience with Kars4kids. The person who took the car away was professional. I received my notice of the proceeds of the sale in a timely fashion. Professional job all around.
Very good, easy arranging pickup, timely receipt, and supporting a great cause!
Within a couple of days they were here to pick up my car and not more than two weeks later I had my paperwork. I feel very good about making this donation. Thank you. (I heard about this on WEEI out of Boston)
Our charity programs are the essence of what we do. We are thankful to be able to give back to many local communities across North America and to bring educational opportunities to so many children, with the help of our sister charity Oorah. We're a registered nonprofit Jewish organization. Learn about what we do and see our charity programs here.
Kars4Kids‘ vision is to give our children the ability to succeed in life. We focus on educational, mentorship and year-round programs for our children, their families and their communities, looking at the big picture of our children‘s development and the environment they grow up in. We rely on thousands of volunteers to help us change the world, one child at a time.
Our summer camp menagerie is an integral part of building happy, emotionally healthy children. Children find it soothing to work with and cuddle the animals. It makes them feel capable when an animal responds to their touch and voice. Our unique brand of pet therapy bolsters campers' self-esteem and translates into better relationships with their peers.
There‘s always something going on at Kars4Kids, whether it‘s a weekend reunion for teenage girls, an exercise class at ChillZone, or a back-to-school backpack giveaway. There are fun and worthwhile programs for every age, from moms and dads, to teens, boys and girls. Something for everyone in the family all year long is our primary aim.
