Here’s what our Florida donors had to say about how donating went for them.
P.S. we didn’t make these up! They're all real donors, with real experiences.
Though I was hoping to have gotten a little more for my car than I did, I was impressed by the prompt service you offered. I was surprised at how simple and easy it was to donate my car - and have it picked up! I would recommend Kars4Kids to family and friends!
I found the overall experience easy to follow from the on-line site, and I received good and helpful information when I spoke to someone to make final arrangements for vehicle pick-up. At the conclusion, since our vehicle actually received an amount higher than the standard $500 value I received appropriate follow-up correspondence with instructions to follow to ensure the larger amount could be claimed on my 2012 tax return.
The process was simple and extremely quick!
Our charity programs are the essence of what we do. We are thankful to be able to give back to many local communities across North America and to bring educational opportunities to so many children, with the help of our sister charity Oorah. We're a registered nonprofit Jewish organization. Learn about what we do and see our charity programs here.
Kars4Kids‘ vision is to give our children the ability to succeed in life. We focus on educational, mentorship and year-round programs for our children, their families and their communities, looking at the big picture of our children‘s development and the environment they grow up in. We rely on thousands of volunteers to help us change the world, one child at a time.
Sometimes families find it impossible to make dollars stretch to the end of the month, leaving families in crisis mode. This can have a dire effect on children who need stability and safety. We offer family assistance according to need. Whether the need is tuition, grant money, food, or clothing, we‘re there to lend a helping hand.
Kids love pizza. So Chill Zone volunteers make sure kids have it often to help motivate kids to keep coming back to this safe, structured weekend and afterschool program. Once upon a time, however, two kids couldn‘t eat pizza due to allergies. Their dedicated Chill Zone advisor went the limit and baked them a delicious no-gluten substitute.

During the Great Depression, people who couldn‘t afford homes would live in an RV. Back then, they called these vehicles "trailers". Today, RV‘s are a sign of financial well-being. Kars4Kids was grateful to Penny of Kissimmee, FL for donating her RV to help kids in need.
Financial disclosure: Kars4Kids is exempt from tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualifies for the maximum charitable contribution deduction by donors. Our Federal Identification Number is 22-374-6050. We are proud of the way we manage our finances.
