Kars4Kids Teams Up With Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to Distribute 2,000 Children’s Coats for Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

[post_thumbnail size=”full size”]

This Thursday, November 21, we at Kars4Kids will be teaming up with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization whose mission is to make a lasting impact on the lives of others, and local community leaders to give away 2,000 plus children’s coats to those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy and in need of winter coats to help get them through the upcoming winter months. The giveaway will take place at the Tunnel to Towers relief center on Staten Island from 11AM-3PM.  Please note all those receiving a coat need to have their FEMA# with them at time of distribution.

We have seen up close this past year through other giveaways what Hurricane Sandy victims have gone through and are still going through.  The thought of parents not being able to bundle up their little ones properly in the frigid months because of the financial challenge is chilling. We hope and pray that this will help as many as possible.  Please share this post with anyone you think it can help.  For more information check out this press release.

Hey I’m just hearing about this coat drive now. I see it’s passed already but I have a few coats I’d like to donate. Is there anywhere I could bring them for this coat drive or any others?? Thanks
